While the construction includes techniques such as working with zips, creating a pocket, and attaching a strap, each step is broken down clearly with detailed written instructions, illustrations, and a full video tutorial.

FINISHED BAG MEASUREMENTS:

Height: 35 cm / 13.8 inches

Width: 46 cm / 18 inches

Depth: 18.5 cm / 7.3 inches

Strap (shoulder): 52.5 cm / 20.7 inches

Strap (crossbody): 77 cm / 30.3 inches

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:

Based on 137 cm (54 inches) fabric width:

* 110 cm / 43 inches exterior fabric

* 110 cm / 43 inches lining fabric

* 140 cm / 55 inches iron-on interfacing (optional for lightweight fabrics)

INTERFACING:

Interfacing the entire bag is optional, however the interior pocket must be interfaced to prevent sagging and ensure durability.

If you are choosing to interface the pocket only, you will need a piece measuring approximately 25 cm / 10 inches.

For best results, I recommend using iron-on interfacing.

FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS:

This pattern is very versatile and works well with a wide range of fabrics.

I recommend light to mid-weight fabrics such as cotton, linen, mid-weight canvas, and other non-stretch fabrics.

I do not recommend using heavyweight fabrics such as thick denim, heavy canvas, or upholstery fabrics, as these can make construction much more difficult.
